Top Food Books - 2007

This past year I did not post that many detailed cookbook reviews on The Italian Chef, just one as a matter of fact. But, that doesn't mean there weren't any other worthwhile cookbooks that came a cross my desk. So, with the holidays and the end of the year coming up I thought this might be a good time to recommend some of the books I did enjoy. These books would make great gifts for any food lover. I think the list covers a nice range of interests from traditional Italian cooking to baking bread and making pizza to making ice cream. Since this is our first year doing this I have also included some of my favorite older books that would have made previous editions of this list and make great gifts any year.
