Erminia

By Jason Wilenski

Remember those carefree days in Venice, riding along in the gondola with your sweetheart. The air was crisp but her hand was warm. Do you want to recapture that feeling? Can you afford the international airfare, the taxis, the gondola ride?

For a four star romantic experience closer to home, try this dark, cozy restaurant on the upper east side which has both northern and southern Italian specialties. The food is excellent (especially the rotolo and the wood grilled dishes) and the atmosphere can't be beat. A complete meal with wine and tip will run you approximately $160, not cheap, but worth it.

If you can't win a woman over with this place, perhaps you should reevaluate your relationship.
